After a great deal of consideration we have made the very difficult decision to close our much loved tea room and farm shop. Our last day will be Saturday 4th February.

 

The pressures, responsibilities and red tape of being a successful business have begun to take their toll and have overshadowed the enjoyment we take out of it.

 

Although it’s long been my intention to close sometime this year, I had no intention of shutting with such short notice. This is due to personal circumstances I don’t wish to make public.

 

As a family we’ve worked extremely hard during the past 9 years and have made many friends. Your loyalty has made the business the success that it has become, making the decision even harder. But I feel now is the right time to scale down and focus on the Bed & Breakfast and homemade cakes.

 

I will still be making cakes and Christmas puddings and intend to win even more awards! I’m starting a new cake business with my sister Joanne, the details have yet to be finalised but for the short term these can be delivered locally or collected by arrangement.

 

The tea room will be available to use as a meeting room and occasions can be catered for.
